Look at those little wiggles. :) They are starting to stumble around a bit, but still not going too far from mama. They are top notch snugglers at this point. Next week we will introduce them to their new play area and start working on sound desensitizing.
Have you seen anything sweeter?! This little faces are enough to skip the pile of laundry that needs folding and just snuggle the afternoon away. They are a very laid back group so I knew changing up the play area was going to rock their world a bit, but they handled it well. They will build confidence each week as we introduce new things, change will become "old hat"! Which is the goal. They are starting to walk around more and are interacting with toys. We worked on sound desensitizing this week to city sounds and thunderstorms!
Love all those cute tails wagging. :) They are a very sweet group and are just starting to learn that they love to explore. They love the new treats we introduced this week! Open crate time is their jam, and they don't mind snuggling in for a nap! Yay! We will start working on manding and vacuum desensitizing this next week, along with closed crate time!
Welcome to the big play area sweet babes! They loved the new space and have enjoyed exploring all the new things to sniff. Vacuum training went very well, they are not scared of much. :) They are getting the hang of "manding". (Sitting quietly waiting for a treat) Closed crate time was not a huge hit, but they will get better each week as they get used to the "restraint". Pick out happened, and we are so excited for each family that will get to bring home one of these darlings in about a month.
How are they 7 weeks old already?! They are such a social group of pups, they adore people and any new experiences. They are doing very well on sitting already! Crate time is going much better! They had fun in water play this week! Next week weaning starts, we also start working on leash training.
Weaning officially starts this week! They will be in their play area without mama during the day, but get to snuggle her again at night in their crate. It's always fun to watch their independence grow throughout the week! Halter work is in full swing, and they don't love the added accessory. ;) They are sitting like champs, and starting to spin too. Smart little babes! They had their final vet appointments this week and all checked out perfectly!
